OUR JOURNEY SO FAR

2022

AAPB FOUNDED

AAPB was founded with a vision to promote and advocate for the development of community-owned broadband networks and co-ops that would provide affordable and reliable internet access to all Americans.

2023

CHALKING UP BIG ADVOCACY WINS

After successfully helping to fight the Utah Taxpayers Association, AAPB was instrumental in helping Bountiful City, Utah own its future and finally build its community-owned all-fiber network. One month later, AAPB scored another win, this time influencing NTIA to issue new BEAD Letter of Credit Guidelines. Notably, the new guidance promises to help make public funds more readily available for the smaller American communities that are in desperate need of reliable broadband.
